Our wines

Andreas Shiraz 2015


After months of careful nurturing, the grapes are hand-picked in the early morning and brought cool and dew-fresh to the cellar, to await their metamorphosis at the skilful hands of our full time winemaker, Shaun Meyeridricks, formerly of Boekenhoutskloof.


Our wines spend between 12 and 18 months on toasted French and American oak, and we select from the best individual barrels to create the final blend.


The result is smooth, full-bodied, top-of-the-range wines in the classic New World style, with characteristic peppery, spicy, and berry flavours.


Our limited output means we are able to exercise strict, hands-on quality control at each stage of the winemaking process, from the vineyard to the cellar, and everything, including bottling, is done on the premises.

Beautiful deep ruby colour, with slightly pink edge and deep red core. On the nose, round, full with black fruit flavours of black cherries, plums and blueberries.

Very expressive.


Palate is well balanced with fruits of the forest, spice, black pepper, dark chocolate and coffee. Wine shows well on the finish with good presence of acidity and medium to high tannins, which indicate good longevity. Well-structured with good body.

2015 Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast

The vineyards sourced to make this flagship wine come from Green Valley, the sub-appellation of Russian River Valley, as well as the wind swept AVA of Carneros.


Budbreak was early and the growing season was produced low yields of concentrated fruit with beautiful flavor development from each of these vineyards—Kozlowski (farmed by Joe and Steve Dutton) in glorious Goldridge soil and the coolest and foggiest of the three vineyards and Las Brisas Vineyard (from Carneros pioneer, Frank Mahoney). 



The duo comes together to create a balanced, vibrant, rich expression of the Sonoma Coast AVA.

Complex layered aromas of black cherry and wild raspberry combine with scents of forest and savory spice.


Nice tension and firm yet supple tannins complement this richly textured wine entwining flavors of dark cherries, boysenberries and spice.

2015 Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast

Highlighting the beauty of the appellation each year, our Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is an artistic blend sourced from distinct areas within the vast Sonoma Coast AVA. 


Each of the vineyard locations contribute to the balance and beauty of this wine – from the wind swept regions in the southern end to the cool and foggier regions in the north. The 2015 produced low yields of concentrated, beautiful fruit.  Each vineyard showcased its characteristics in the final blend. 

The result is a wine with nuanced texture, bright fruit and crisp acidity.


Rich aromatics of orange blossom, orange oil and lemon custard fill the nose with a lingering leesiness. The palate is opulent and complex.  Ripe fruit, lemon cream and sweet herb come together with bright acidity.
